V-Day 2011

Valentine's Day this year didn't disappoint! Once again, I have the most amazing husband in the world!

Since Valentine's Day was on a Monday and both of us had to work, we celebrated a little bit early. I had gotten Thad a gift certificate to Massage Envy for Christmas, and coincidentally my mom had gotten me one as well. So, for Valentine's Day we decided we would both go in and get a couples massage! Our massages were amazing! We almost got suckered in to buying their monthly package to get massages at a discounted rate, but figured we probably shouldn't... though we have been tempted to call back a few times since then!
When Monday came around we didn't really have anything planned, but I was planning on just spending a nice relaxing night at home maybe watching movies on the couch with Thad. While I was at work, about 15  minutes before I was supposed to get off, in comes my amazing husband with the most gorgous flowers! He spoils me every year even though I tell him not to!
Dont mind my mess of a desk... just look at the flowers :)

Aren't they amazing! You can't really tell that there are lillies in there since they hadn't bloomed yet, but they bloomed the next day and were so pretty! Everyone at work kept coming in and telling me what an amazing husband I must have, and I couldn't agree more! Since I was about ready to get off work, Thad suggested we go get some dinner. We went to IHOP! Not the most "romantic" of Valentines dinners but the food was yummy. Thad says I only get to eat at IHOP once a year, so its always a treat when I get to go get this:

Stuffed French Toast
Every time I go there I say I want to try something new, but I always end up getting this! I used to go every Tuesday morning with some friends of mine in high school to get this before school, so its been one of my favories for 8 years or so! If you haven't tried it, you should!

I hope everyone had a great Valentines Day! Again, I just have to say that I have the most amazing husband and am such a lucky girl!
